Old Man Johnson is a surviving World War II vet. When he was a young man he took the first boat out to England to help them fight in the war and when America finally joined up he was still fighting in the front lines. While there he met more of his kind and with their help kept his abilities under warps. His supernatural abilities helped keep him and allies alive during the war.
After the war he traveled around Europe where he met other Predator Kings. He joined with one of their clans before moving back to the USA to help one of their offshoot groups based in the South. For several years Old Man Johnson was the second in command of the Redbacks and when his best friend, Crazy-Eyed Jim died, he stepped down to allow the younger generation to carry on the legacy. Old Man Johnson acts as the adviser in his group and is often seen sitting with the young pups, telling them a variety of stories.
Now a days Old Man Johnson still has more vigor and strength then those in age bracket but is seen less and less around the pack. He is the care taker of his wife who has advanced alzheimer's. When any of the pack wants to find him he will usually be found by her bedside, retelling stories of their time together. When someone asked why he has not put her into a home he'll calmly explain, "When we married I swore that it would be until death do us part. I meant it. I will be by her side so she won't be alone when she goes and if I'm lucky, I'll follow shortly behind her."
Old Man Johnson's current hobby is collecting colorful hats and uses every opportunity to wear them out. At this time he has over 498 pieces that he will happily show off.
